Council delegates and alternates are elected by their service units to represent them and vote on their behalf. They also serve as the primary channel of communication between Council members and GSSEM's Board of Directors.
GSSEM has 30 service units, and each is authorized to elect two Council delegates and two alternates. Once elected, delegate names and contact information must be given to the Council.

All delegates are required to report meeting results to their respective service units.
Per GSSEM bylaws, the Annual Meeting occurs by April 15 every year. Our corporate membership attends meeting, which includes board members, board development committee members, and council delegates elected by service units.
