Knock, Knock. Who's there? Wood. Wood Who? Would you like to come out and join the Naturalist Staff at Crosswinds Marsh and your Outdoor Education Team for a hike to learn all about beavers?

The event is happening ON International Beaver Day, WOOD you believe it or not!! Come out and celebrate this keystone species by learning a little bit more about what makes this mammal so special and important. Participants will get the opportunity to feel a beaver pelt and skull, learn about some of its fascinating qualities, attempt to replicate a beaver dam with sticks and mud, and take a hike in search of evidence of beavers in the park.

Included in Girl and Tagalong Registration Cost:
* 2 hours of hands-on, in-depth learning from a real life naturalist!

PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to participate in the event.
