Phenology. Pheno- what? It is the observation and measurement of
events over time. Girl Scouts will become community scientists as they
dive deeper into Michigan's four seasons with this four-patch series.
This session will focus on SPRING!
Go on a spring hike at
the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge! A Naturalist will
guide you on the trail, so you'll have the perfect opportunity to
listen and search for signs of the forest waking up after a long
winter! Then head inside and make a "Grass Head" craft to
take home after the event and celebrate the arrival of Spring!
