Looking to start the New Year off, right? Join Nature Center staff and your Outdoor Education team to learn all about our amazing owls and to start your year off with the awesome 1000 Hours Outside program!

During this program a naturalist will guide you in all things owls! Explore an owl pellet while learning about what owls eat, when they are active, and how they interact with the other wildlife in the park. After the presentation, prepare for an outdoor hike to experience an owl habitat and possibly have an owl sighting! This hike will be a kick-off to the new year and a start to your girl scout's 1000 hours outdoors! The naturalist will introduce the program 1000 hours outside and pass out tracker sheets for families to take home!
