Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors - did you know that we have a "Great Lakes version" of the beloved Axolotl? It is called a Mudpuppy! Come out and join the Naturalists at Belle Isle Nature Center to learn all about them!

Take a deep dive into the fascinating life history of the Michigan version of the axolotl! We will participate in a river walk along the Detroit River to learn about various conservation efforts being conducted to help preserve this important Great Lakes indicator species.

*Please note that this event is being held within a State Park and daily admission is NOT included in your registration fee.*

PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to participate in the event.
