Rev up your racing skills-register now for the Daimler Truck (Powertrain Engineering North America) Pinewood Grand Prix and race your custom-built car to victory!

Get ready for a fastpaced, highenergy day of STEM fun with Daimler Truck (Powertrain Engineering North America) at the Pinewood Grand Prix! This exciting event is open to Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts and centers on friendly competition, engineering, and great sportsmanship.

Each participating Girl Scout will race her own custom, handbuilt Pinewood Derby car in thrilling heats as she competes for the coveted Detroit Diesel Cup. Girls will not only put their racing skills to the test but also cheer on fellow Girl Scouts and celebrate creativity through special Honorable Mentions such as Best Decorated and Best Design.

Important Note:
All cars must be fully assembled and decorated before race day. This event is focused on racing only-there will be no time or materials available onsite for building or decorating. Be sure to arrive raceready with your fastest and most creative car! However, there will be an area with tools for you to make adjustments to your cars if needed.

During this event, participants will:

Complete a prerace car inspection and weighin
Race a minimum of four times for a chance to win the Detroit Diesel Cup
Cheer for fellow Girl Scouts and vote for Honorable Mentions

Costs:
$25.00 per Girl Scout
$28.00 per Tagalong (register as a girl non-member)
$0.00 per Adult

PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to participate in the event.
