Girls of all faiths are welcomed and encouraged to attend this program.
Please join us for the Religious Relationships Annual "My
Promise, My Faith" Program. This year, we are excited to offer
girls for the first time ever, the opportunity to learn about the
oldest world religion, Hinduism. Spend the afternoon at the Kasi
Vishwanath Temple located in Flint Twp. The girls will tour the
temple, learn about how different faith traditions are supported by
the Girl Scout Movement, complete the requirements of the My Promise
My Faith Pin, string an artificial flower garland, and participate in
other activities. A snack will be provided.
There are 13
different My Promise My Faith Pins (one per Girl Scout Level and
year). We will not be providing the pin at the event, but we will
provide detailed written instructions on how to obtain it for your
troop/daughter. They are less than $5 each.
Consider bringing a water bottle.
Please wear your Girl
Scout smock/vest/sash
