Your favorite fishing event is back for the 2025 summer season! Come
join your Outdoor Education team at Holly State Recreation Area to
learn how to fish! Each Girl Scout will walk away with their own
fishing pole and tackle box.
Participants will be guided
by two angling experts and GSSEM Staff on the proper techniques for
successful and safe shoreline/dock fishing skills, safe and ethical
fish handling practices and some basic Great Lakes fish identification
skills! Participants will get a full two hours to fish and they will
walk away from the event with their very own fishing pole and tackle
boxes (kids only).
