Come join Lorenzo "The Mushroom Man" and your Outdoor
Education Team on a fungi hike at Stony Creek Metropark. We will learn
how to identify several species up-close because when identifying
fungi - there isn't mushroom for error!
During this
event, participants will embark on a park walk to find and learn about
the intriguing Fungi Kingdom. Learn where these shy organisms live and
their important role in nature. Before the walk there will be a quick
introduction to fungi and you will be able to inspect curated mushroom
samples up close.
