Have you been curious how to start a fire? Or how to keep yourself
safe outdoors during the summer months? If you answer yes, then you do
not want to miss this event! Join the Naturalist at Dinosaur Hill for
an evening of fun!
During this event, participants will
learn the ins and outs of how to build a proper fire to cook on and
then test their skills by cooking a dump cake snack over their fire!
Once all participants have learned how to safely put out a fire, we
will head out on a nature hike to learn all about common summer safety
concerns (poisonous plants, how to avoid sunburn/heat
stroke/dehydration, and insect stings).
