Calling all Brownies! Have you earned your Brownie Bugs Badge yet? If
you answered no, then you do not want to miss out on this event with
the Naturalist Staff at Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve.
During this event, you will start in the classroom at Dinosaur Hill to
meet the perfect bug pet before embarking on a nature hike through the
trails at Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve and then get the chance to
turn into a stream biologist for the afternoon. You will get to wade
through the stream on property in search of the adorable critters
called "aquatic macroinvertebrates" that call the stream
home. The Naturalist Staff will guide you through the collection and
identification process of these critters while explaining what it
means for the health of the stream.

Costs:
$25.00 per girl
$0.00 per adult
PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper
Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to
participate in the event.
Please be prompt in picking up your Girl Scout
from events. If you are going to be late, you must contact your event
organizer to notify them of the late pickup. After 15 minutes, if no
one has called the event organizer, activity staff will call guardian
and if needed, emergency contact. Girl Scouts left after 1 hour past
the end of activity, without notification, will be released to the
authorities or child protective services.
