Come on out to Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve for an afternoon
learning how earth worms are natures natural, living recyclers by
creating your own "living and giving science experiment" to
take home!
Participants will start with a community
garden bed tour to see a larger than life compost pile in action. We
will explore how compost piles, with the help of several living
creatures and other biodegradable materials, create "magic
dirt" that we can use to jumpstart our home gardening
projects.
Each participant will get the chance to create
their own, small-scale version of a compost bin to take home with them
after the event!
