Celebrate Juliette Gordon Lowe's birthday early with a creative, hands-on workshop where young Girl Scouts explore the exciting world of entrepreneurship, chemistry, and invention-just like their trailblazing founder!
Led by a specialist from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
(USPTO), Juniors and Cadettes will discover how Juliette Gordon Lowe's
inventive spirit helped spark a movement. Girl Scouts will learn the
basics of intellectual property and how ideas become inventions with
storytelling, exploration, and invention-themed fun. this workshop
builds foundational knowledge of entrepreneurship while celebrating
Girl Scout heritage. Each girl will walk away knowing she has the
power to think big and make her mark on the world-just like Juliette
did.

Please be prompt in
picking up your Girl Scout from events. If you are going to be late,
you must contact your event organizer to notify them of the late
pickup. After 15 minutes, if no one has called the event organizer,
activity staff will call guardian and if needed, emergency contact.
Girl Scouts left after 1 hour past the end of activity, without
notification, will be released to the authorities or child
protective services.
