Creativity meets code in a workshop that turns ideas into playable games-and Girl Scouts into technology innovators.
Â
Get ready to think like a robotics engineer and coder! For this
event you will be a game developer! In this interactive workshop, Girl
Scouts will deconstruct their favorite games-like UNO, Connect 4, and
Jenga-to uncover the logic and "coding" that makes each one
work. Then, they'll remix and reprogram (game coding) the rules to
create their own exciting new versions! Just like coding a robot,
girls will learn how small changes can lead to big results. Through
teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, participants will design,
test, and present their unique game prototypes while building
confidence, collaboration skills, and a coder's mindset-all while
having a blast!
