Girl Scouts are invited to a thrillingly immersive night at iFLY in Novi!
Girls will experience an interactive STEM presentation, delivered by
an IFLY STEM Educator, a physics demonstration in the wind tunnel, a
classroom experiment that compares predicted and measured wind tunnel
speeds, flight instructions & safety training, and one-on-one
flight time. Girls will earn their STEM Career Exploration badge.
*Registered adults will participate.*
Costs:
$60.00 Standard flight package - INCLUDES: 2 Flights
Rotations.
$75.00 High Altitude flight package - INCLUDES: 2
Flight Rotations w/ a High Flight experience and a photo/video.
Registration deadline: July 30 (or sooner if event reaches
capacity).
PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event
and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to
participate in the event.
Please be prompt in picking up
your Girl Scout from events. If you are going to be late, you must
contact your event organizer to notify them of the late pickup. After
15 minutes, if no one has called the event organizer, activity staff
will call guardian and if needed, emergency contact. Girl Scouts left
after 1 hour past the end of activity, without notification, will be
released to the authorities or child protective services.
