Come on out to White Lake to join your Outdoor Education Team and Great Lakes Primitives to learn primitive fire building: creating an ember from scratch, to a fully sustained flame!

During this event, you will take a step back in time and learn how the discovery of fire came to be! We will take a deep dive into the history and creation of primitive tools used to build fire while exploring their different uses and adaptations. After our mini, hands-on history lesson, we will actually get to make our very own ember guided by the experts at Great Lakes Primitives and nurse it into a full blown flame!
