Calling all Girl Scouts! Join the Naturalists at Lake St. Clair
Metropark for a "Great Lakes Discovery Cruise" on Lake St.
Clair. Participants will turn into citizen scientists for the
afternoon and make a splash with freshwater ecology exploration!
Participants will enjoy an educational and hands on boat ride
on Lake St. Clair learning about Great Lakes shipwrecks, bootleggers
and the history/culture of Great Lakes fisheries, restoration efforts,
and current environmental threats local to the area.
Included in Girl/Tagalong Registration Cost:
*2 hours of hands-on programming (during boat ride)

Included in Adult Registration Cost:
*2 hours of hands-on programming (during boat ride)
*Please note that this event is being held within a
State Park and daily admission is NOT included in your registration fee.*
Costs:
$40.00 per girl (Choose time slot)
$40.00 per tagalong (Register as girl non-member, choose time
slot)
$30.00 per adult (Choose time slot)
PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper
Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to
participate in the event.
Please be prompt in picking up your Girl Scout
from events. If you are going to be late, you must contact your event
organizer to notify them of the late pickup. After 15 minutes, if no
one has called the event organizer, activity staff will call guardian
and if needed, emergency contact. Girl Scouts left after 1 hour past
the end of activity, without notification, will be released to the
authorities or child protective services.
