Seniors are invited to join us for a fun-filled day of learning how
to care for your car!
Volunteers from the American
Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Greater Detroit Chapter and
Oakland University ASSP Student Section will guide Seniors in earning
their Car Safety badge. Girl Scouts will engage in activities that
demonstrate basic car maintenance, safe driving practices, emergency
role play, and exploring an electric vehicle.
Costs:
$15.00 per Girl Scout
$20.00 per nonmember
girl
$10.00 per adult
*If you are not a registered
Girl Scout and you are interested in attending this program, the
system will prompt you to create an account to register. To create an
account, please click on 'Don't have an account?" Sign up now'.
Please note that non-member registration fees may differ from
registered Girl Scout fees. *
Please be prompt in picking
up your Girl Scout from events. If you are going to be late, you must
contact your event organizer to notify them of the late pickup. After
15 minutes, if no one has called the event organizer, activity staff
will call the guardian and if needed, emergency contact. Girl Scouts
left after 1 hour past the end of activity, without notification, will
be released to the authorities or child protective services.
Registration deadline: May 1 (or sooner if the event reaches
capacity)
