Available at Camp Hawthorn Hollow only! Troops are invited to come out for select weekends throughout the year to participate in staff lead activities all weekend!

Troop Camping gives your troop the opportunity to spend the weekend at Camp Hawthorn Hollow to enjoy a planned itinerary of staff-led activities or come with your own troop's programming. Feel free to use all our free program areas while staying at camp during the weekend!

Troops are responsible for providing their own meals throughout the weekend. Troops must also meet the proper Adult Volunteer to Girl Scout Ratio as well as have a Troop First Aider.

Should you choose to add-on staff lead activities, the Camp Program team will provide your troop with your schedule a week before your Troop Camping weekend. We aim to have a variety of activities based on the season during which you are camping. All activities are subject to staff availability. Please note that your troop may be paired with another troop during these sessions.

Only one adult is needed to reserve your preferred lodging option. If the GSSEM Events Calendar is showing a "One Adult Space Available" option next to the lodge name, that lodge is available to rent for the weekend. The camp team will reach out 4-6 weeks prior via email, for your final roster.

Cost:
Maple View Lodge $395 per weekend
Lodges $385 per weekend

Villages $200 per weekend

Lodging Details:

Maple View Lodge sleeps 22 people and comes with an updated kitchen and common room separate from the sleeping areas. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, and dishware. We still suggest each individual brings a mess kit. There is a bathroom located in this lodge, with showers located at the Shower House.
