Step into a place where history's greatest ideas come to life and discover how to use your ideas to help shape the future with The Henry Ford Museum!
What does it take to turn an idea into something that changes the world?
Join us for the Innovation Summit, an exclusive experience created in partnership with The Henry Ford, where Cadettes will explore the stories, technologies, and creative thinkers that have shaped our world and continue to inspire what's next.
Throughout the day, you'll investigate how innovation happens, from groundbreaking inventions of the past to emerging solutions addressing today's challenges. Through collaborative activities and challenges, you'll strengthen the skills that innovators use every day: curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
As you explore what it means to lead through innovation, you'll also have the opportunity to work toward the Cadette Silver Torch Award, one of the new Girl Scout Leadership Awards. The Silver Torch Award recognizes Cadettes who take action, serve as leaders among their peers, and inspire positive change in their communities. Earning a Leadership Award at the Cadette level now fulfills the prerequisite for pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award.
Through collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership experiences throughout the summit, Cadettes will gain valuable skills that can support their journey toward Girl Scouting's highest achievements.
This experience is designed for Girl Scouts who are ready to think big, ask bold questions, and explore how they can make an impact through STEAM. Whether you're interested in engineering, technology, science, design, or entrepreneurship, you'll leave with new ideas, fresh inspiration, and a deeper understanding of how innovation can be a powerful tool for change and a pathway to meaningful leadership.
