Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors come join GSSEM in White Lake on Sunday, November 8, for an interactive experience that encourages girls to become informed, confident, and engaged future voters! Your Voice, Your Vote!
Come explore the power of voting and discover how your voices can make a difference. Girl Scouts will learn how to register to vote, explore the importance of civic participation, and put their knowledge into action by participating in a fun mock election.
Cost:
$5 Girl Scout member
$6 tag-alongs (register as girl non member)
Registration fee includes:
- 2 hours of interactive workshop
- Snack
- Promote the Vote Patch
Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan programs are designed for girls attending as a troop, group, or individually.
"Due to limited space, the workshop is for participating Girls only. Adults can spend time in the lobby.
Please be prompt in picking up your Girl Scout from events.
If you are going to be late, you must contact your event organizer to notify them of the late pickup. After 15 minutes, if no one has called the event organizer, activity staff will call guardian and if needed, emergency contact. Girl Scouts left after 1 hour past the end of activity, without notification, will be released to the authorities or child protective services.
