As the sun sets and people are getting ready for bed, some animals at Indian Springs are just waking up! Brownies and Juniors will explore the park after dark and experience the animals that enjoy the nightlife.

Participants will discover the ways that wildlife thrives under the stars with group nature activities and then embark on a guided twilight hike. This program is entirely outdoors. The first half will be spent on a presentation where several optional group interactive activities with instructions will be involved. The remainder of the time will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops.

Expect to walk about 1 mile. The sun will set during the program, so participants should expect the interpreter to guide a walk in the dark. The planned path surface isdirt and gravel, suitable for wheelchairs and adaptive walking equipment. The planned path grade isfrequently rolling or slightly hilly, including some bridges and boardwalks. No prior experience is necessary. For maximum enjoyment, some of the one-hour program time will require all participants to patiently remain quiet and listen closely.
