The forest is full of bounty if you know where to look! Join your OE team and the Naturalist Staff at Farmington Hills Nature Center and learn about common wild edibles that you can find in the park and beyond.
Participants will learn to identify the plants, how to forage them responsibly, and how best to prepare some natural treats. Program will take place on the trail as a hike.
Included in Girl Registration Cost:
* 1.5 hours of guided learning

* Fun, Event Patch ("Foraging")
* Foraging based snack
Included in Adult Registration Cost:
* 2 hours of guided learning

PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to participate in the event.
