Daisies and Brownies join your OE Team around the campfire for our brand-new event series - "Campfire Stories"! We will read "Fatima's Great Outdoors", roast a s'more, learn how to set up a tent, learn what a campfire needs to be successful & then make a spider craft to take home!

During this event, participants will gather around the campfire to read the book "Fatima's Great Outdoors" - a heartwarming story of a young girls first time tent camping. During the story, Fatima learns how to set up a tent for the first time, what is needed to build a campfire and how to conquer a fear of the BIG (tiny) spider "monster" living on the roof of their tent!

After the story, participants will have the opportunity to roast a marshmallow over the fire for a tasty s'more. Next, we will learn how to set up a tent as a group and then break into two teams for a tent relay! After the tent relay, we will make our spider craft and learn what materials are best for DIY fire starters. We will end by "building" an edible campfire to snack on during the ride home.
