It's back for the last time! Brownies, Cadettes and Adults come on out and join your Outdoor Education Team for a weekend at Camp Playfair! Brownies will be earning their COMPLETE Wonders of Water Journey and Cadettes will earn their Leader in Action Award before Journeys and this award disappear for good!
Brownies, Cadettes and Adults come on out and join your Outdoor Education Team for a weekend at Camp Playfair! Brownies will be earning their COMPLETE Wonders of Water Journey and Cadettes will earn their Leader in Action Award!
Brownies come on out to Camp Playfair and spend the weekend earning your Wonders of Water Journey: the LOVE Water Award, the SAVE Water Award, the SHARE Water award and the WOW! Award. We will spend the weekend along the shores of Lake Huron discovering the impact of water in our lives, what we can do to advocate for clean water, how we can play a part in waterway conservation, and take a deep dive into water chemistry and aquatic ecology! This will include putting on a pair of waders and getting up close and personal with some good old H2O!
Cadettes will get the opportunity to earn their Leader In Action Award Badge by working with council staff to fully plan and teach this weekend camp as a cohort! Cadettes will be broken down into groups and will be assigned a group of Brownies to mentor throughout the weekend.
***Cadettes will be REQUIRED to attend BOTH pre-planning meetings in order to attend the camp weekend***
Adults will be needed to meet ratio requirements for BOTH Brownies and Cadettes.
Included in Brownie Registration Cost:
* All food and lodging Friday-Sunday
* Cadette and Council taught curriculum to fully earn the Brownie Wonders of Water Journey (Brownie LOVE Water Award, Brownie SAVE Water Award, Brownie SHARE Water Award, and the Brownie WOW! Award) - awards included in registration cost
Included in Cadette Registration Cost:
* All food and lodging Friday-Sunday
* Two planning meetings prior to the camp weekend to discuss program goals and develop curriculum
* Full requirements met to earn the Cadette Leader In Action Award - award included in registration cost
Included in Adult Registration Cost:
* All food and lodging Friday-Sunday

$150.00 per Brownie Girl Scout
$100.00 per Cadette Girl Scout
$80.00 per Adult
PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to participate in the event.
