Have you ever wondered what it is like to put on a beekeeper suit and learn how to take care of an active beehive? Come on out and join us at the hives at Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill in Armada, MI with Bees in the D to learn about bee conservation!
Join Brian Peterson from Bees in the D as he shares his passion about the education and conservation of the all- important pollinator, the honeybee. He will share his journey into the world of beekeeping, explaining common misconceptions, and the fascinating life of the honeybee. Workshop participants will learn the basics of beekeeping, the tools needed, and will have the opportunity to visit active hives! Join us to find out what all the buzz is about with beekeeping!
