It's gourd season! Come join the naturalists at Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve and your OE team to use these seasonal fruits to craft your own birdhouse. It's sure to be a Gourd time!
Participants will use gourds, members of the squash family, grown at the preserve to engineer and decorate a birdhouse. Participants will practice their drilling skills as they remove guts and decorate a bird home that will last until Spring.
Included in Girl Scout Registration Cost:
* 1.5 hours of hands-on instruction and crafting

Included in Adult Registration Cost:
*1.5 hours of hands-on instruction and crafting
Costs:
$30.00 per girl
$30.00 per tagalong (Register in a "Girl" spot)
$0.00 per adult (Adults planning to be present during the program MUST register. Event space is limited.)
PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to participate in the event.
