Celebrate National Make a Difference Day with GSSEM! National Make a Difference Day falls on the fourth Saturday in October every year, and Girl Scouts are invited to help make a positive impact all month.
GSSEM's Make a Difference Day patch celebrates the spirit of service and empowers Girl Scouts to take meaningful action in their communities. It encourages Girl Scouts of all ages to identify a need, take initiative, and positively influence the future. Whether you're cleaning up a park, helping a neighbor, or organizing a donation drive, every act of kindness counts.

** This is a self-paced patch program, and all projects must take place in October 2026. **
Cost: Patches are free, but we need to charge a bit for shipping ($1.00 per patch or a $5.00 flat fee for five or more patches)
Track your efforts and submit the form—as a troop or individual—with a photo or video of your completed project to earn this fun patch!
If you have any questions about this patch program, please email Noelle Dunbar, Life Skills Program Specialist, at ndunbar@gssem.org.
