🔥🦃Calling all Girl Scout foodies, kitchen adventurers, and professional taste-testers! It's time to gobble up some fun at Camp Hawthorn Hollow with a Friendsgiving celebration that's part cooking challenge, part shopping adventure, and 100% delicious!🥧🍂
On Friday evening, troops will be assigned a mouthwatering Friendsgiving recipe and then head to the "Camp Hawthorn Hollow Grocery Store" in Handi-Hall with your team to shop for everything you need. We will go over food handling skills and kitchen safety skills to help make this event as successful and safe as it can be!
After shopping, each Girl Scout will have the chance to make their own "DIY Giving Plate" before getting a restful nights sleep - we will all need our energy for a cooking spree!
After breakfast in Handi Hall on Saturday, it's time to get cooking! Put your new skills to the test as you and your team work together to bring your Friendsgiving recipe to life. Depending on your recipe, you'll either cook over a crackling campfire 🔥 or whip up your creation in your cabin kitchen 🏡. Grab your ingredients, gather your team, and get ready to chop, stir, mix, bake, and create something delicious!
🍽 Time to FEAST! Once everyone's dishes are ready, we'll gather around in Handi-Hall for one GIANT Friendsgiving feast featuring all of our delicious creations!
Along the way, you'll get to practice teamwork, try something new, make new friends, and maybe discover that you have some seriously awesome chef skills!
And remember: many hands make light work-and many cooks make one AMAZING feast! 😋
So tie on your apron, put on your best cooking smile, and get ready to stir up some fun!
