Join us for a meaningful virtual service project as a part of Make a
Difference Day! This project is designed for Girl Scout Seniors and
Ambassadors who are passionate about giving back to their communities.
You will work on impactful activities that can be done from the
comfort of your local community, making a positive difference in the
lives of those in need.
National Make a Difference Day is
October 26th and GSSEM will be celebrating all month! The Girl Scouts
mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who
make the world a better place. Girl Scouts are leaders in their
communities and leaders serve. This year, Girl Scouts will continue
their tradition of giving back with their time and resources.
We are asking Senior and Ambassadors to partner with
organizations making a difference in the community by giving their
time through community service work. Participants will be able to
serve and learn about the impact their time has on individuals,
families, and communities in need.
Seniors and
Ambassadors who complete at least 10 hours of community service work
with a nonprofit of their choice in October will earn a Make a
Difference Day patch. (Participants must submit a letter from their
nonprofit verifying the completion of hours to receive the patch. All
hours must be completed in October 2024.)
