Thanks to her devoted family, Dorothea Palazzolo finally became a Girl Scout this month—on her 80th birthday!  Dorothea’s son, Mike, planned the membership surprise for his mother, who he says always wanted to be a Girl Scout but never had the chance.

Our newest Girl Scout was enjoying a birthday dinner with her family when she was surprised with a framed resolution from GSSEM that read:

A Resolution

DOROTHEA PALAZZOLO
from Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan
on her 80th Birthday
June 29, 2018

Happy Birthday and congratulations from all of us at Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, Dorothea!
