This year’s theme is “Leadership” for the World Thinking Day celebration.
The intent is to promote leadership.
This year, World Thinking Day will have an international theme.
Troops that participate will select a famous landmark ( i.e. Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, etc.)
Each Girl Scout troop will have a table for their landmark where they will sell (for a dime) a souvenir and small food sample that represents their landmark.
In addition, troops are invited to perform a skit based on their landmark (such as a song, dance, etc.)
Mark your form if you want to perform a skit.
On the night of the event, each troop will receive a packet of information that will include World Thinking Day Patch for every registered girl in their troop.
Each troop will be advised of their landmark selection once their registration form is received.
Each Girl Scout troop is responsible for appropriate adult supervision (per Safetywise) AND appropriate permission slips for their scouts.
Cost is $6 per scout & $4 for adults and registration deadline is Feb, 8th 2019.
