Skeet Shooting

Sat Apr 13, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Grand Blanc
Cadette, Ambassador, Senior

Why shooting sports? Handling a gun and good marksmanship develop positive traits such as patience, discipline, determination, focus, attention to detail, and persistence. Since these skills are key elements of leadership and confidence, we encourage girls to take what they learn from any sport or activity and apply it in their lives, communities, and the world. Learning how to handle guns properly and safely is of paramount importance, as is the healthy respect girls will develop when properly trained in shooting sports.

This class is taught by experienced, trained instructors, all equipment is provided. The $12 fee per girl includes hotdog lunch, instruction, all equipment needed for beginners to try the sport and shoot a shotgun. Shooting is limited to the girls only. The $6 adult fee covers lunch only.

Advance registration is required and is limited capacity. All adults and girls must be registered to attend there are no other spectators or tagalongs allowed. All girls in attendance must have troop/parent supervision. Registration closes March 31, 2019 or sooner if capacity has been reached. Spaced is limited!

All girls in attendance must be 12 yrs. old or older and have a parent/guardian sign a permission form in order to participate. Please be aware that girls will feel some recoil while shooting.
