This program is designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics. The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. No experience necessary!

This is a beginner workshop for those who have no experience with SCRATCH or other programming languages. Every girl should have the opportunity to learn computer science. It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic, and creativity.

Snack and participation patch is included.

Cost: $10/girl (adult entry is free but each MUST registered)
Levels: Junior, Cadette

Registration deadline: April 28, 2019 or earlier if the event reaches capacity. Refunds are available when requested in writing (email is acceptable) before the registration deadline. Cancellations after the registration deadline are non-refundable and non-transferable. Full refunds will be issued if a council event or series is cancelled.

Limited adult space available in room.

Adult-to-girl ratios must be maintained as outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls attending must have a parent or guardian registered to attend the event. Sorry no tagalongs can be accommodated.
