Fun STEM workshop designed to teach young girls how to create games and animations with Scratch.

In additions to having fun, girls will be exposed to real world basic coding concepts and will create real code.

Workshop is 100% hands-on and interactive and also challenging, so an expressed interest in technology is ideal to get best experience.

Workshop satisfies the 'Think Like a Programmer' journey award, which will be awarded on Day 3 of workshop.

Snacks will be provided but girls must bring their own lunch.

Adults should accompany their scouts, but adult participation is not allowed (this ensures that workshop is entirely GIRL-Led).

Workshop will run for three consecutive weekends (3/9, 3/16, 3/23).

Bringing your laptop is optional but highly encouraged. If you bring your own laptop make sure you bring power supply and a mouse.
