A blue moon is not as rare as you think but this event will be a blast into space. Girls will have to opportunity to learn all about the moon, the history of women in space, what it takes to be an astronaut, discover how the stars are used in navigation on the Great Lakes and how they can use them to navigate too and most importantly of all the chance to experience the stars and moon!

Options to stay the night in a tent or in Ringler Lodge. Tent camping overnight $10/person or $20/person in the lodge. Space is limited, continental breakfast provided in the AM.

During this event girls and adults will take place in an active fun learning experience including hands-on learning and games. At least a portion of this event will take place outdoors no matter the weather, please ensure that everyone attending is dressed appropriately including closed-toe shoes.      

Cost is $10 per girl and $10 per adult: Event fee includes event activities, supplies and the corresponding mini Outdoor Skills patches (for girls only). 

ALL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING WATER AND SNACKS. No food or drink will be provided.                                                 

This is a girl and adult event, challenge by choice but participation by all attendees is highly encouraged.  Troops are responsible for meeting their own safety ratios as outlined in Volunteer Essentials Part 3: Safety.  Space is limited. Individual girls must attend with a participating parent or guardian. No tagalongs can be accommodated. 

The registration deadline is one week prior to event.  No full or partial refunds will be issued after this date.
