Girl Scout members between the age of 11 and 15 years (Cadette or Senior) will complete the American Red Cross certified Babysitting Course and receive their certification.

Along with completion of the Babysitting course

 

CADETTES – will complete their Babysitting skill builder badge

SENIORS – will receive a FUN PATCH

Come and learn the art of making chocolate. Each girl and adult will come home with about 12 oz of chocolate, a fun patch for the girl, while learning some fun facts about chocolate. You will learn to dip, roll, and fill chocolate. All brownies and older are welcome and may include their parents. There are two sessions for this event. The first session is 10am - 12pm, the second session is 1pm-3pm. See reigstration flyer for further information.

Admission is $6 per daughter and $5 per mother which includes on ticket, one small drink, one small popcorn. Each Girl Scout will receive a fun patch. Spend the night locked in at the Warren Community Center as we explore our oceans. Life as we know it depends on the water in our lakes & oceans. Learn what threatens them and how you can help. See a variety of awesome sea life, participate in our awareness project, share a snack on the shore and of course take a swim like the fishes! My Promise / My Faith Day is the presentation of the official My Promise / My Faith Award.  The Day is open to girls at all levels of Girl Scouting.  A series of experiential stations are planned to allow girls to work on the award requirements, followed by lunch, further activities, and a closing interfaith service.   A separate tract will be run for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts.

Zumba is an aerobic exercise that involves hip hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo moves. Combined with Latin Music.

My Promise, My Faith Girl Scout Sunday & Faith Event in Livonia

Girls will participate in service together. Following service they will have lunch and participate in a variety of break-out sessions where they will explore their faith, create severable craft projects and most importantly begin to build friendships in their troop, rooted in faith and mutual understanding of God’s love for each one of us! We will explore the Girl Scout Law and relevant Bible stories that demonstrate the Laws, as well as some key women in the Bible. Girls should wear their Girl Scout Vest or Sash.
