Girls will enjoy hands-on, skill building activities including knot tying, line handling, and other sailing skills.

Girls and Adult chaperones must be registered Girl Scouts to attend.

Two sailing times available. Filling sailing times on a FCFS basis.

*Space is very limited so please maximize girl ratios!

Participants MUST be able to swim unattended!

 

No more than 8 people in a group, but fewer is okay.

 

~Session choices are 9-11, 11:30-1:30 or 2-4pm.

~Preferences are honored on a FCFS basis.

~Price is for one session & one custom patch.

 

The Dive Shop is located at G-4020 Corunna Rd in Flint Township just west of I-75 .

Cost is just $3 per house and $2 per custom patch!

 

Choose your time: 10 am or 11 am

Times are given on a FCFS basis so

please sign up before the Nov. 9th deadline

so any adjustments can be made.

Boy Scout Rendevous-GSSEM members invited!

The 2013 Rendezvous promises to be a weekend of fun, fellowship and a true festival of Scouting!  It is the premier event of the Boy Scouts - Great Lakes Field Service Council, and they have invited the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan to join in the fun!  Fun-filled activities will take place in different themed "towns": Back In Time, Challengeville, Target Town, sports Centre and Downtown.  In additiion, there will be a large exhibit area and an amplitheater where the closing Arena Show will take place.  All activities will take place Saturday, September 21, 2013 a

4th Annual Moonlight Hayride and Bonfire

Enjoy cider, donuts, hayride, bonfire and a sing-a-long. This event also includes the cornfield maze, straw maze, straw mountain, animated storybook barn and haunted village with the black hole.

We would like each troop attending to lead a song!!

Gold Award Training

Gold Award Training for girls in 9-12th grade and adults working with them. This workshop is highly recommended to attend. You will explore the steps to earning this prestigious award while learning the difference between Take Action and community service. The workshop is presented by experienced members of the Gold Award committee. The Girl Scout Gold Award is a leadership adventure and the highest honor a Girl Scout Senior or Ambassador can achieve.

Women's Health

Cadette, Senior and Ambassadors learn more about Women's Health. Girl Scout Seniors will earn Steps 1-4 of the Women's Health badge through a partnership with Karmanos' Cancer Institute.  Nothing's more important than good health-and, as women, we have unique health issues at every stage of our lives.  A Women & Cancer presentation will cover:  What is cancer?, it's causes and risk factors and how to reduce those risks.  Adult supervision is required at this event.  All adult/girl ratios must be maintained as outlined in Safety Wise.
