World Thinking Day - Lake Orion

Come join us for the 2014 World Thinking Day in Lake Orion!  Each Girl Scout troop will have a table for their country where they will sell (for a dime) a souvenir or small food sample that represents their country. Half of the dime is to cover troop cost(s), the other half may be
donated to Girl Scout Troop 11983 who is hosting this event.

This event is for registered scouts only, sorry no siblings.

Girl Scout Movie Day-The Lego Movie

Girl Scouts will have an entire theater to ourselves the opening weekend of the LEGO Movie!  This event is open to families and tagalongs (adult must attend with children).

Service Project Opportunity:  you are invited to bring canned goods and non-perishables to be donated to local food pantries if you would like.

Community 10 Camp - Hawthorn Hollow

This is a camp weekend for Community 10. It is an Older Girl Led weekend. Scouts will work on journey activities, badge work and have the possibility to enjoy songs, games, and ceremonies. Girls will work on a World of Girls Brownie Journey and Get Moving Junior Journey.

SOLD OUT--Jewelry Making Workshop, Port Huron

SOLD OUT.  This workshop is sponsored by Troop 70598 and is open to all age Girl Scouts (including adults)!  You will get a chance to work with different jewelry tools and learn about jewelry from other cultures.  You will create a necklace using these ideas, make a bracelet out of beads made at the event, make a wire wrapped pendant, and make a friendship bracelet.  Juniors will earn their Jeweler badge; all others will receive a fun patch.    Items at this event would make a nice Mother's Day gift!

Live Safe--Safety Training Class, Chesterfield

Fun, interactive workshop designed to teach essential, life saving information about the threats facing children, strategies for prevention and real world techniques to reduce risk.  Parents are requested to stay for the event which will be at Green Elementary in Chesterfield.

Junior Core Camp "Investigation!"

Juniors will follow clues and discover facts this weekend as they earn their Detective Badge! During this multi-age level core camp weekend, girls will also have an opportunity to horseback ride! Girls will make new friends and participate in camp traditions such as ceremonies, songs, games and outdoor fun (weather permitting). Campers will enjoy two nights of modern lodging, a Friday night snack, 3 meals on Saturday and Sunday breakfast in our dining hall. Registrations will be accepted from troops, adult/girl pairs and individual girls.
