World Thinking Day - Lake Orion

Come join us for the 2014 World Thinking Day in Lake Orion!  Each Girl Scout troop will have a table for their country where they will sell (for a dime) a souvenir or small food sample that represents their country. Half of the dime is to cover troop cost(s), the other half may be
donated to Girl Scout Troop 11983 who is hosting this event.

This event is for registered scouts only, sorry no siblings.

Girl Scout Movie Day-The Lego Movie

Girl Scouts will have an entire theater to ourselves the opening weekend of the LEGO Movie!  This event is open to families and tagalongs (adult must attend with children).

Service Project Opportunity:  you are invited to bring canned goods and non-perishables to be donated to local food pantries if you would like.

YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER--NO PAYMENT AT THE DOOR.

This is a Girl Scout Troop only Event
$6.00 per person which includes skate rental
(If they want speed skates or rollerblades they charge $4.00 extra for those or the girls can bring their own skates)
This is a pay in advance event
Tickets are now on sale until January 15th. We need 125 skaters to hold the venue.

SOLD OUT--Jewelry Making Workshop, Port Huron

SOLD OUT.  This workshop is sponsored by Troop 70598 and is open to all age Girl Scouts (including adults)!  You will get a chance to work with different jewelry tools and learn about jewelry from other cultures.  You will create a necklace using these ideas, make a bracelet out of beads made at the event, make a wire wrapped pendant, and make a friendship bracelet.  Juniors will earn their Jeweler badge; all others will receive a fun patch.    Items at this event would make a nice Mother's Day gift!

Live Safe--Safety Training Class, Chesterfield

Fun, interactive workshop designed to teach essential, life saving information about the threats facing children, strategies for prevention and real world techniques to reduce risk.  Parents are requested to stay for the event which will be at Green Elementary in Chesterfield.

Daisy Day Camp at Camp Innisfree is a great intro to camping for daisy girls and adults! Daisies will earn the Daisy Camp Way fun patch through participation in camp traditions such as crafts, songs, games and outdoor fun (weather permitting). Campers will also have the chance to meet the Innsifree Equestrian Center Farm Friends!  Daisies will enjoy lunch at the dining hall with brownies and juniors too! Registrations will be accepted from troops (in a 1:1 adult to girl ratio - Daisy girls are required to camp with a related adult) and adult/girl pairs (not attending as a troop).
