Girl Scout Family & Friends Corn Maze Fun in Newport

Everyone is invited to an exclusive GIRL SCOUT event at local CORN MAZE at J Webb Corn Maze Farm in Newport. Enjoy a small scale corn maze on a working farm whose goal is to educate others on farm lifestyle and create a fun family time. Bring along your flashlight. A special raffle will be held to win 1 of 5 pumpkins. Chances at the Pumpkin drawing will be given to those who provide donations to support the efforts of local Devoted Barn, which is an animal rescue and rehabilitation facility in Newport.

Scouts Aglow - A Recruitment Skating Party for Girl Scouts & Cub Scouts in Newport

Girls in K-5 are invited to join us at Dixie Skateland for skating fun with a glow-in-the-dark theme! Come in your best glow attire to a chance to win a prize. The girl and boy who best represent the theme will win! Bring a friend to learn about Girl Scouts for a special surprise from Miss Katie. Skate rentals are available for $1.50 or $2.50 for speed skates or roller blades.

5th Annual Moonlight Hayride & Bonfire in Armada

Registered GSSEM Girl Scouts are invited to enjoy cider, a donut, a hayride, bonfire and a sing-a-long! This event also includes the cornfield maze, straw maze, straw mountain, animated storybook farm, and Haunted Village with black hole. Sorry, no tagalongs. This event is hosted by Cadette/Senior Troop 50363.

Service Project:  collecting eyeglasses, hearing aids, cell phones and electric razors--all donations will be delivered to Emmett Lions Club.

Exploring Puppetry - A visit to the PuppetArt Theater Detroit

You are invited to have an exciting and very unique experience meeting the art of puppetry in an interactive and entertaining way at PuppetART’s Theater, Studio, and Museum in Detroit. In the PuppetART Theater, you will enjoy an original performance of an exciting feature, Turtle Island. In the PuppetART Studio, you will learn to build a puppet and how to bring it to life. Then explore the history of puppetry in the Puppet museum. Checkout the flyer for more details.

Daisy Core Camp

Daisy Core Camp is a special one-night camping event for Daisy girls and adults to experience Girl Scout camp traditions at Camp Innisfree!  Girls will make new friends and create lasting memories while participating in camp ceremonies, songs, games, and outdoor fun (weather permitting).  Girls will also have the chance to visit the Innisfree Equestrian center where they will meet the farm animals and experience a lead-line ride on one of our friendly camp horses!  Girls will receive a Core Camp patch for the weekend and a fun patch to put on the back of their smock or vest.&

Daisy Day Camp

Daisy Day Camp at Camp Innisfree is a great intro to camping for daisy girls and adults!  Daisies will earn the Daisy Camp Way fun patch through participation in camp traditions such as crafts, songs, games and outdoor fun (weather permitting).  Campers will also have the chance to meet the Innisfree Equestrian Center Farm Friends!  Daisies will enjoy lunch at the dining hall with brownies and juniors too!  Registrations will be accepted from troops (in a 1:1 adult to girl ratio - Daisy girls are required to camp with a related adult) and adult/girl pairs (not attending

Clarkston Fall Jamboree

The Fall Jamboree is an opportunity to pull the troops back together in the fall and to encourage girls interested in Girl Scouts to come out and see what we are all about.  Last year we had 20 new scouts participate in this event and over 100 current Gilr Scouts.  We are hoping to pull in more this year.  The girls will rotate stations where they will make crafts to be donated to the local senior shut ins, games, and participate in a foundry in a box activity.

October 4, 2014, 10am-1pm, Register by 9/22.

Geocaching Workshop in Clinton Township

Geocaching is your chance to be part global explorer and part detective. All age Girl Scouts are welcome! You'll search for treasure chests known as "geocaches", using a device called a GPS receiver to find the treasures. Juniors will earn their Geocacher Badge! Pajama Rammer/Upcycling Party in Woodhaven

Join us for a night of fun at Skateland! You do not need to stay all night. Girls will participate in roller skating (rental included); PJ Fashion Show; Up-Cycling Fashion Show; upcycle activities to turn an old pair of jeans into a purse, turn an old t-shirt into a new look, and decorate a pillow case. Photo prop station and 1 slize of pizza and pop also included! See registration flyer for further details.
