Clarkston Fall Jamboree

The Fall Jamboree is an opportunity to pull the troops back together in the fall and to encourage girls interested in Girl Scouts to come out and see what we are all about.  Last year we had 20 new scouts participate in this event and over 100 current Gilr Scouts.  We are hoping to pull in more this year.  The girls will rotate stations where they will make crafts to be donated to the local senior shut ins, games, and participate in a foundry in a box activity.

October 4, 2014, 10am-1pm, Register by 9/22.

Geocaching Workshop in Clinton Township

Geocaching is your chance to be part global explorer and part detective. All age Girl Scouts are welcome! You'll search for treasure chests known as "geocaches", using a device called a GPS receiver to find the treasures. Juniors will earn their Geocacher Badge! Pajama Rammer/Upcycling Party in Woodhaven

Join us for a night of fun at Skateland! You do not need to stay all night. Girls will participate in roller skating (rental included); PJ Fashion Show; Up-Cycling Fashion Show; upcycle activities to turn an old pair of jeans into a purse, turn an old t-shirt into a new look, and decorate a pillow case. Photo prop station and 1 slize of pizza and pop also included! See registration flyer for further details.

Mom &Me Tea Party in Hadley

This will be a two part event.  The Girl Scouts and their adult partner will pick a time out of three we will select to go to Merge Art Studio in Oxford and paint a cup and saucer.  On the day of the Tea Party, the couples will come to the event and their cup and saucer will be waiting for them.

 

Tea Party is 10/19 from 1-3 pm at the Hadley Town Hall in Hadley.

SWAP Making Event in Sandusky

Trailblazers: Meet UU Women Who Changed the World! 9/28 in Detroit

Monroe 2014 Labor Day Parade

Monroe/Lenawee AFL-CIO Labor Day Parade will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 through Downtown Monroe.
Community 12 has an online sign up for any Girl Scout member (girl w/adult supervision) to participate in the Labor Day parade with line up at 9 am on Jones Ave - Parade Kick Off at 10 am.
The parade route will be 1.7 miles and ends at St. Mary's Park.
This parade will coincide with the 8th Annual River Raisin Labor Day Bar-B-Que Festival in the streets of historic Downtown Monroe.

Skating Fun with the Girl Scouts at Northland Skating Rink!

Come and enjoy fellowship with the New Prospect Girl Scouts at Northland Roller Rink. Meet and skate with your sister scouts from Community 10 and make a new friendship that can last forever.
An adult or troop leader must accompany their troop (safety ratios must be observed) for this event. New Prospect Girl Scouts are hosting this evening of fun. Come support your fellow scouts. All proceeds will help fund their yearend trip. The council shop will have fun patches available for leaders to purchase for their scouts. This event is limited to 90 tickets.
