The Scouts will wok on the national program portfolio by earning badges, completing journey activities, and enjoying traditions including ceremonies, songs, games, SWAPS and hikes! Oxford Holiday Parade

Come show your troop spirit supporting our local Girl Scouts as we walk in the Oxford Holiday Parade.  Parents and family are all welcomed to walk with us.  Parade lineup starts at 1:00 p.m. near Daniel Axford Elementray School.  Parade starts moving at 2:00 p.m.

You must RSVP with Laura Wilson (contact info is below) if you walk in the parade.

You are encouraged to attend the Float Building Workshop on November 23rd (check Calendar).

Float Building Workshop Oxford

Gingerbread House Making Oxford

Come join us for a night of making edible gingerbread house that you can take home.  Each person will get a large gingerbread house kit, with lots of decorations and frosting to work with.

 

If you would like to bring a non-perishable item, like a can or box good, we are going to donate them to Oxford FISH.

Jewelry Making Workshop

Participants will get a chance to work with different jewelry tools,
learn about jewelry from other cultures and create a necklace using these
ideas, make a bracelet out of beads made at the event, make a wire
wrapped pennant, and make a friendship bracelet.

Juniors will earn their Jeweler Badge, and others will receive a fun patch.  More details and information to register are at the link below!

American Red Cross certified BABYSITTING COURSE in Monroe

Girl Scout members between the age of 11 and 15 years (Junior, Cadette or Senior) will complete the American Red Cross certified Babysitting Course and receive their certification.

Along with completion of the Babysitting course

JUNIORS – will complete their First Aid legacy badge

CADETTES – will complete their Babysitting skill builder badge

SENIORS – will receive a FUN PATCH

Love Your Heart Overnighter in Romulus

Let’s celebrate our Hearts in honor of the American heart association GO RED FOR WOMEN. Besides receiving a fun patch you will have the opportunity to receive the Red Dress Pin. To receive the pin you will just need to complete your heart passport which you will receive at registration. The heart passport will lead you to different stations to help you Love your Heart.

Safety Award Day in Livonia

Join us in fun and educational activities designed to give scouts the tools to be safe wherever and whatever they do!

Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and even Cadettes will meet First Responders and learn about Fire Safety, First Aid, Natural Disasters, and Bike safety.  Cadettes interested in this event will work with younger girls and need to contact Amanda Brown approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.  Activities are based on the requirements for the Safety Award Pin.
