Girl Scouts come together to discover what Girl Scouts were doing in 1918, to learn some new songs, you will also make some crafts that Girl Scouts have used through the years, enjoy a snack, get a patch and meet Juliette Low!

Clarkston Fall Jamboree

The Fall Jamboree is an opportunity to pull the troops back together in the fall and to encourage girls interested in Girl Scouts to come out and see what we are all about.  Last year we had 20 new scouts participate in this event and over 100 current Gilr Scouts.  We are hoping to pull in more this year.  The girls will rotate stations where they will make crafts to be donated to the local senior shut ins, games, and participate in a foundry in a box activity.

October 4, 2014, 10am-1pm, Register by 9/22.

Geocaching Workshop in Clinton Township

Geocaching is your chance to be part global explorer and part detective. All age Girl Scouts are welcome! You'll search for treasure chests known as "geocaches", using a device called a GPS receiver to find the treasures. Juniors will earn their Geocacher Badge! Circus School and Pinwheels for Peace In Trenton

Girls will rotate in stations directed by the Cirque Among Us Company. They will learn skills in thefollowing arears Trapez, Arcrobatics and Stilz. At the end of the day they will perform in a circus with their family and a nursing home as their audience. We will also have a pinwheels for peace station where we will make and display Pinwheels in honor of pinwheels for peace day.

This is a troop money earning event; program credits are not eligible to be used towards this event.

Brownie Core Camp- "Camp Friends"

Brownie Core Camp "Camp Friends" will introduce Brownies to hiking safety while making new friends in the process!  Girls will earn their Hiker and Making Friends badges.  In addition, all camp participants will receive a Core Camp Patch to add to the back of their vest or sash.  For $75 per person this Core Camp includes two nights in a modern lodge, a Friday night snack, 3 Saturday meals and breakfast on Sunday.  Registrations will be accepted from troops, adult/girl pairs and individual girls.  Camp counselors will be provided for individually registered gir

Adventure Sports in Fenton

SOLD OUT!  Spend a day at YMCA Camp Copneconic for Archery, Zipline, Canoeing or Kayaking, High Ropes (10 and up only) or Climbing Wall.  Includes lunch!  Each troop is responsible for maintaining their own adult:girl ratios.

Pajama Rammer/Upcycling Party in Woodhaven

Join us for a night of fun at Skateland! You do not need to stay all night. Girls will participate in roller skating (rental included); PJ Fashion Show; Up-Cycling Fashion Show; upcycle activities to turn an old pair of jeans into a purse, turn an old t-shirt into a new look, and decorate a pillow case. Mom &Me Tea Party in Hadley

This will be a two part event.  The Girl Scouts and their adult partner will pick a time out of three we will select to go to Merge Art Studio in Oxford and paint a cup and saucer.  On the day of the Tea Party, the couples will come to the event and their cup and saucer will be waiting for them.

 

Tea Party is 10/19 from 1-3 pm at the Hadley Town Hall in Hadley.

SWAP Making Event in Sandusky

This event had been CANCELLED.  Girl Scouts of ALL ages, come learn the art of making and sharing SWAPS (Special Watchamacallits Affictionately Pinned Somewhere)! You will make SWAPS in bulk for upcoming events (e.g. River Crossing). See the attached flyer for more information and to register!
