Join us for a night of fun at Skateland! You do not need to stay all night. Girls will participate in roller skating (rental included); PJ Fashion Show; Up-Cycling Fashion Show; upcycle activities to turn an old pair of jeans into a purse, turn an old t-shirt into a new look, and decorate a pillow case. Trade clues with other Prom guest, gather information and try to solve the crime. This event is hosted by the Professional Detroit Murder Mystery Company. Mom &Me Tea Party in Hadley

Looking for a challenge or want to brag about an accomplishment? Then this is for you! Girls in 6th-12th grade can test your skills as you spend 24 hours out of doors in the winter, building a shelter to sleep in, cooking your meals over an open fire and just having fun! You must attend two mandatory meetings in the Southfield area on Jan.13th and Jan.20th to attend the Jan. 24-25th event. These trainings will give you the skills and knowledge to safely accomplish this challenge. Some special equipment is required and limited quantities are available to be borrowed.

Monroe 2014 Labor Day Parade

Monroe/Lenawee AFL-CIO Labor Day Parade will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 through Downtown Monroe.
Community 12 has an online sign up for any Girl Scout member (girl w/adult supervision) to participate in the Labor Day parade with line up at 9 am on Jones Ave - Parade Kick Off at 10 am.
The parade route will be 1.7 miles and ends at St. Mary's Park.
This parade will coincide with the 8th Annual River Raisin Labor Day Bar-B-Que Festival in the streets of historic Downtown Monroe.
