The Volunteer National Awards Banquet honors GSSEM volunteers for their contributions to Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan.  All of the National Awards recipients display exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and having a measurable impact on girls and the community.  We are so fortunate to have volunteers with such passion for Girl Scouting.

The Volunteer National Awards Banquet will be held at the San Marino Club, 1685 E. Big Beaver Rd. Troy, MI 48083.

My Promise / My Faith Day is the presentation of the official My Promise / My Faith Award.  The Day is open to girls at all levels of Girl Scouting.  A series of experiential stations are planned to allow girls to work on the award requirements, followed by lunch, further activities, and a closing interfaith service.   A separate tract will be run for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts.

International Zumba Dance Party! in Riverview

All ages including adults are invited.
Zumba is an aerobic exercise that involves hip hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo moves. Combined with Latin Music.

Overnighter at the New Downriver Gymnatics! in Southgate

My Promise, My Faith Girl Scout Sunday & Faith Event in Livonia

Girls will participate in service together. Following service they will have lunch and participate in a variety of break-out sessions where they will explore their faith, create severable craft projects and most importantly begin to build friendships in their troop, rooted in faith and mutual understanding of God’s love for each one of us! We will explore the Girl Scout Law and relevant Bible stories that demonstrate the Laws, as well as some key women in the Bible. Girls should wear their Girl Scout Vest or Sash.
