This workshop is highly recommended for girls in 9-12th grade and thier interested adults to attend.  You will explore the steps to earning this prestigious award while learning the difference between Take Action and community service.  The workshop is presented by experienced members of the Gold Award committee.  The Girl Scout Gold Award is a leadership adventure and the highest honor a Girl Scout Senior or Ambassador can achieve.  As part of a movement of 10 million girls worldwide, you are in an exceptional position to take action in your community to make the world

Join us as students from U of M-Flint SCA/SAN facilitate discussions and hands-on activities about making positive choices in the online world using multiple forms of media. Lunch is included! An optional patch may be purchased for $1.00.  Cadettes will complete the requirements for the Netiquette Badge (you will have to purchase that at the council shop).

(Adults need a passport, or enhanced drivers license, children under 16 only need a birth certificate). Whether you cross the border or not there is fun to be had on both sides. You can even meet Girl Guides in Marine City!

Volunteer Orientation - Clinton Twp

This 3-hour, in-person course is a comprehensive orientation to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and covers information that is vital for Troop and Program Volunteers.  Topics include: GSSEM resources about Program, Money &  Safety, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting and Leadership Journeys.  Troop and Program Volunteers are required to take this course online, in-person or in both formats.
