Celebrating Culture 1/25/14

Sat, January 25, 2014 (01:00pm to 04:30pm)

Join Us in CELEBRATING CULTURES of girls around the world!

In celebration of GIRL SCOUT THINKING DAY, come join us at the Arab American Museum in Dearborn!  Girls and adults will participate in activities focused around celebrating cultures of girls around the world! Girls and adults will have the opportunity to participate in a private hands-on art jewelry workshop created exclusively for this event, learn a traditional ethnic dance, receive an exclusive badge-related tour of the museum, and experience object-based learning with museum relics.  At the conclusion of the event, you have as much time as you would like to explore the museum, ask questions, and participate in a scavenger hunt throughout the museum.  All girls will receive a badge and all participants are able to take home their jewelry creation.

This is an exclusive Girl Scout sanctioned event, therefore museum membership discounts do not apply.

This event is being offered on two separate dates Jan 25th and Feb 22nd to allow you to choose the best date for your family or troop.  Each events stands alone.
