SPIN into Tornado Safety in Ortonville

Come join us at this FREE event ($2 if you want a patch) and learn all about tornados and how to prepare a safety plan. Join our troop of Juniors working towards their Bronze Award to learn what to do in the event of a tornado, learn about local tornado history, and watch our skit to summarize what you've learned! Brownies can use this event as part of their bridging requirements by understanding what type of programs Juniors can prepare for others! Free educational event; Tornado Awareness fun patch available for $2 each if registered by deadline.

Brandon Memorial Day Parade

Join us as we walk in the Brandon Memorial Day Parade.  The event starts at 9:30 am; line up begins at 9:00 am in front of Old Town Hall and ends at the Ortonville Cementery.  All Girl Scouts that register and walk in the parade will receive a Parade fun patch.  Adults must bring Girl Scouts.  (Please check the calendar for a 5/21 6:30-8pm Parade Prep Giveaway event--making poppy flowers and writing notes to give to veterans at the parade).  You can register for one or both events.

Friday night arrival, snack and Girl Scout songs. Saturday- planned activities in the morning. Afternoon Program activities: Daisies ride a horse, Brownies and Juniors can participate in archery and ride horses, Cadettes and Seniors (12 yrs. Old) can participate in all three activities. .Sunday - breakfast, flag retirement. This event is a troop money earning event, and program credits can NOT be used for registration.

Outdoor Adventure Camp Experience for girls currently in grades 1 - 5
will be held at the Wilderness Campground, 1350 Meanwell Rd., Dundee 48131.
The adventure begins on Sat. June 7 at 10 am.
Girls in grades 1st and 2nd will attend a 1-Day Adventure from 10 am - 4 pm at a cost of $15 per girl. Minimum 20/Maximum 50
Girls in grades 3 - 5 will continue their adventure with an overnight camp experience end on Sunday, June 8 at 10 am. Cost of $25 per girl. Minimum 20/maximum 50.

A “Customized” visit to the Charles Wright Museum Of African American History in Detroit

This museum visit has been customized with you in mind. The fee includes admission, a tour, a boxed lunch and a patch. Each tour & girl workshop is designed to meet the interests of that age level and offer everyone an informative and inspiring experience.

All troops/groups must be accompanied by appropriate number of adults as listed in Safety Guidelines (Community troop girls attending need a parent present)
