Junior Core Camp - "Animal Homes"

This event is Camp Hawthorn Hollow’s last Junior Core Camp before summer camp season begins. This Core Camp is all about being outside and learning about our animal friends on camp. Girls coming to this Core Camp will learn all about how animals live and survive and how to look for signs that an animal is nearby. We will also be examining our camp gardens up-close and helping plant vegetables and flowers for the season. Girls will earn their Animal Habitats and Gardener badges.

Cadette Core Camp - "Trees of CHH"

This is a special weekend set aside just for Cadette Girl Scouts. At this Core Camp girls will be learning about the different types of trees that we have here at camp. Girls will also be studying the parts of a tree and how trees help the environment. Then the girls will be making a tree craft to take home. Girls will earn their Trees and Woodworker badges. In addition, all camp participants will receive a Core Camp Patch to add to the back of their vest or sash.

Brownie Core Camp - "Adventure Trails"

Come and enjoy the beautiful landscape of camp in the spring! Brownie Core Camp is back with even more activities for Girl Scouts to discover. “Adventure Trails” introduces Brownies to hiking safety and a real-life treasure hunt. Girls will earn their Hiker and Letterboxer badges. In addition, all camp participants will receive a Core Camp Patch to add to the back of their vest or sash. For $75 per person this Core Camp includes two nights in a modern lodge, a Friday night snack, 3 Saturday meals and breakfast on Sunday.

Junior Core Camp - "Design and Draw"

At this Core Camp, girls will use their imagination to come up with improvements to everyday projects. They will also be learning several different drawing techniques, and then using their new knowledge to draw their product. Girls will earn their Drawing and Product Designer badges. In addition, all camp participants will receive a Core Camp Patch to add to the back of their vest or sash. For $75 per person this Core Camp includes two nights in a modern lodge, a Friday night snack, 3 Saturday meals and breakfast on Sunday.

Brownie Core Camp "Making Memories"

Join us at Camp Hawthorn Hollow for Brownie Core Camp. Brownie Girl Scouts will earn two badges this weekend: Making Games and Making Friends. In addition, all participants will receive a Core Camp Patch to add to the back of their vest or sash. Girls will expand their imaginations to create games with their own unique rules. While brainstorming, girls will be working together and learning how to involve everyone in a project. For $75 per person this Core Camp includes two nights in a modern lodge, a Friday night snack, 3 Saturday meals and breakfast on Sunday.

Daisy Core Camp - "Discovering Camp"

This weekend is all about camp! Girls and their adult will travel around camp learning about what camp is all about. They will cook over a fire, go on a hike, make a camp craft, sing camp songs, and more! Girls will be getting a Core Camp patch for the weekend and a fun patch to put on the back of their smock or vest. For $75 per person this Core Camp includes two nights in a modern lodge, a Friday night snack, 3 Saturday meals and breakfast on Sunday. Registrations will be accepted from troops (in a 1:1 adult to girl ratio) and adult/girl pairs.

Junior Core Camp - "Manners throughout History"

Juniors attending this Core Camp will practice their table manners and learn how to hold conversation. At the same time, they will be learning about girls from the past and how they lived. We can’t wait to have some old-fashioned fun and practice our manners with you!  Girls will earn their Social Butterfly and Playing the Past badges. In addition, all camp participants will receive a Core Camp Patch to add to the back of their vest or sash.

Cadette Core Camp - "Special Agent"

This is a special weekend set aside just for Cadette Girl Scouts. At this Core Camp girls will be solving a real life mystery that takes place at camp, and learning some detective skills. At the same time they will be learning about etiquette in the online world. Girls will earn their Special Agent and Netiquette badges. In addition, all camp participants will receive a Core Camp Patch to add to the back of their vest or sash. For $75 per person this Core Camp includes two nights in a modern lodge, a Friday night snack, 3 Saturday meals and breakfast on Sunday.

Brownie Core Camp - "The Science of Innovation"

Brownie girls will earn two badges during this weekend: Home Scientist and Inventor. They will also receive a Core Camp Patch for the back of their vest or sash. Girls will experiment with everyday elements such as electricity and density. They will then use this knowledge to solve problems with new ideas. “The Science of Innovation” is $75 per person which includes two nights in a modern lodge, a Friday night snack, 3 Saturday meals and breakfast on Sunday. Registrations will be accepted from troops, adult/girl pairs, and individual girls.

The Innisfree Equestrian Center, located at Camp Innisfree in Howell, Michigan, is home to 30 well mannered and friendly school horses.  Our professional staff introduce girls to horses in a welcoming manner so their time at the EQ Center is safe, fun and effective.  Winter is a great time to sign up for riding program and our Vet Science programs (held in our Farm Barn).  The Indoor Arena at Innisfree gives the girls a dry place to ride inspite of winter conditions, so bundle up and come on out!
